“I try to take what I call a ‘scorched earth effect’ to lawyering—-which is very different from most lawyers.
“My thing is more like, I want to come to your county, and never been in your county before, and set off a bomb—-a litigation bomb—-that is going to explode in justice for cannabis in your entire community. Those are the cases that excite me.
“I don’t care what that D.A. is going home and telling his wife. I want to be the person who comes in and just clears that courtroom, and makes things totally different. And I want to go in and fight for my client and my client’s rights, and this is about them and their fight, and not about the system. And that’s what they’re hiring, because that’s what they want.”
